I took Nigerian artist Slimcase on tour.
He came to Ghana for a show. I showed him the nature photos I had taken around the country, and he wanted to see that side of Ghana for himself.
So I drove him two hours out of the city. From his club show, to a local restaurant, to the sea at Prampram. A full day, planned and hosted by me.
No agency. No big office. Just the same skills, messages and planning I put inside this book.

My Throwback
Before I found out travel could change my life.
This was me. Working in shops and stores, no connections, no money to "invest", no idea that the places around me could become an income. If I could start from here, you can start from where you are.

I watched the grind before the fame.
This is me with Zubby Michael, the Nigerian actor, back when his career was just beginning. In the area where I grew up, we saw him working, day after day, long before the big screens and the crowds.
Nobody handed him the top. He started where he was and kept showing up. That picture stayed with me through the supermarket shifts and the shop days.
Today I guide travellers up mountains, under waterfalls and across Ghana. Same lesson: start where you are, put in the work, and keep moving.

A lesson from the road
One wrong digit.
I once booked a group tour to three waterfalls and could barely sleep the night before. I woke at 5 a.m. for a 6 a.m. bus at Accra Mall, 30 to 40 kilometres away.
The organiser said she had called me. I checked the number I had given her. I had written one digit wrongly. The mistake was mine.
I took a taxi straight to the first waterfall and paid almost half of what the tour had cost me. When I got there, my group arrived at the same time.
Small details nobody confirms cause most disappointments. That is why Chapter 14 teaches you to read every number back.
